great news, I must say the tv side of things seems to of come a fair way in the past couple of weeks we just went back a couple of steps the past few days. Looking forward to the future revisions.
This problem seems to have returned with the recent CVS.... ... I thought it was fixed back on the 20th, but maybe I was just lucky for a short while?
I have just applied CVS 10-24-2005--23-33 and now Timeshifting only works on Channel 7. If I change to any other channel and then turn timeshift ON, all I get is a black screen and no sound.
If I leave timeshift ON and try to change channels, the channel change is very slow (>10 seconds) and I just get a black screen on all channels, except channel 7......
A similar problem is already logged in Mantis.....so I guess it is already being addressed...
I also had the impression that the handling of AC3 in timeshifting mode
mutes the audio on some channels. TV does not hang and it does not crash but the audio issue is still there and it depends on the audio codec
With the Hauppauge decoder I get no audio for a few channels, with dscaler I have audio for all channels but when zapping to an AC3 channel I get no audio from non AC3 channels. The effects are repeatable.
