With 1.30Beta and default skin I can reproduce the issue on demand.
Will check with 1.30RC again when it is released.

    Thx

I'm still able to reproduce this on demand with 1.30RC.

    Steps to reproduce:

    • start tv
    • move to basic home while tv is running
    • on basic home you can see the name of the tv-show, channel, ect... (see basic_home_ok.png)

    • stop tv
    • start tv again
    • move to basic home
    • instead of the name of the tv-show, channel, ... you can only see live3-0.ts (see basic_home_NOK.png)

You have to restart MePo to see the tv-show infos in basic home again

    Hi
I can not reproduce this with my WIP Skin BackVisionHD (based on PureVisionHD). So to me it looks like a skin issue...

I have retested with TITAN. The error is there too.

    Hi
Some weeks ago I have done some work together with catavolt on better separating Live-TV from playback recorded (or other stored) videos on Basic Home display. This fix has made it into PureVision so maybe this is the reason. But I will check this with DW and Titan later...

I've also tried to reproduce this with Titan, Default Wide & StreamedMP. None of the skins show the issue, so doesn't seem like a skin problem.

@megahorst Your logs show the tuning to WDR Köln twice, so the channel name is present. I see a couple of errors in your logs which all seem to be related to TV (TvService didn't start a couple of times and DVB EPG seems to run into problems).

Are you sure it's not a database connection? Did you install MySQL yourself?

I was not aware of the errors. Now I saw them in the logs. The errors that I have found now are from the 6th of Feb. I found them in the *.bak file.
The error-file from the 8th of Feb. seems to be clear.

I'm using the clickfinder epg. DVB-epg is only used for channels which are not available in the clickfinder.

I did a MySQL installation with MySQL 5.6 at the 7th of Fe. But the error was there before. See my logs from the 19th of December.
I don't think that it is related to that.

It would be REALLY nice if you could figure out if this a a problem with MPs core functionality, but since we haven't had more reports about this and multiple team members can't confirm, it doesn't seem to be 1.

So that kinda leaves the option open that its a plugin problem. Can you reproduce this problem when you start MediaPortal in Debug Mode (with all plugins disabled)??

Of course, the log from the 8th is created with the debug start option.
Is there anything else that I can do?

Not really... Really hard to track some $#(#$@)( bugs. :(
But at least @catavolt confirmed he has seen this also, and @mbuzina can also confirm it occasionally. What we need to figure out is what the cause is. I don't think it's a skin issue, since i can't reproduce it and neither can @Lehmden.

Peter, any idea where this comes from or where to look for it??
