MediaPortal Version: 1.1.2
MediaPortal Skin: default (blue skin wide)
Windows Version: win 7 x64

Is it possible to hide / toggle the OSD when pausing a video? I sometimes pause a vid and need to read something from the bottom, but I cant because its obscured by the OSD.

Not really, but in MediaPortal Configuration you can set "Display timeout" to the number of seconds it should be visible, then it should autohide after this time...

The Display Timeout option is not publicly available yet (if I recall correctly).
So you will have to wait for the next beta release.

In the mean time you can try other skins where the small OSD is an opyion. Example XFactor and CLR. i think StreamedMP also have that option. Do not really know all skinns so there might be others as well.

AW: Re: toggle OSD when pausing

Hi, I'm still not happy with the current solution.
The display timeout works for the described purpose, but it applies to any OSD, not only the OSD while pausing.
I set it to 5 seconds, now it becomes difficult to read TV-descriptions, as it disappears after 5 seconds, even before scrolling starts.
Can't there be a key to make OSD disappear in such situations?

    Thx to all DEVs
