Too much Red and Green when using hauppauge colossus card is there and adjustment? (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

I've finally got my MP 1.3 Alpha, STB, and hauppauge colossus card working. Up until this point it has been a real test to my relationship with my wife, but now things are working well enough that when my wife uses the remote she can turn everything on and it works for her.

I have noticed that when we watch TV, the picture quality is very Red and Green. I looked at the config for the TV server and there is a tab for changing things like brightness, Hue, etc, but It is grayed out.

Is there another way to change these settings?

I had some weird color too the first time, try to replug your Component from your STB, or try other component plug.

OMG. I cannot believe that I didn't try that. Totally fixed the problem. You hit that soft ball out of the park

One more thing. Do I need to do anything special to use the Toslink input (digital audio)? I have been using the stereo, but wanted to upgrade. When I hook up everything, I don't get any audio. It works if I plug my STB from the stereo output to the stereo input of the card, but not when I use the optical output from the STB to the input of the card.

Set the audio input/source on your channels to SPDIF #2, as detailed in the first post of the Colossus + HD PVR support thread:

Got it! Again thanks for the help. It worked for the 1 channel I tried. Now to erase everything and try and repopulate via the schedule direct plug-in
