Hm.. is this a bug in DefaultSkin? Cause I can not reproduce it in StreamedMP. I'm on SVN 28130.
This line is completely missing in the myTVFullScreen.xml file from StreamedMP tho. -> "<disabletopbar>false</disabletopbar>"

Removing this line from the skin file in DefaultWide does not make a difference.
Could you please post the file from StreamedMP so I can compare?

Reading posts here it doesn't seem like a issue. Even if changing <disabletopbar> does make a difference it's not a fix because it should work correctly both ways (true/false).

If its not working the way it should be then it is something that has to be fixed in MediaPortal code and is not fixable only in the xml?

I don't want to install the full StreamedMP to check this, but I made the same change to DefaultWide, and still have the problem.
Are you absolutely certain that you are doing the same testing? I think it is very unlikely that this is something that can be solved in the skin.

I can confirm with StreamedMP it's working, if i add this line disabletopbar in xml set to false, it's ok too
but if i set it to True, after first channel change TOPBAR is back.
In my testing remove disabletopbar in defaultskin maybe it work, i will retry later, i'm @ work right now.

Maybe what streamedMP is showing is not the MP topbar. The problem is, many skins do things in unusual ways.
We know we have an issue with the default skin, and we know that the default skin is coded correctly. The issue is now in mantis to be fixed for 1.3.0 (too late for 1.2.0 unless you want it to never get released).
If a member of the community can find the problem and a fix, that would be good.
