So i have a look at themoviedb.org .There are many Movies with german trailers. For example ::

Rio 2
Transcendence
The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro
Bad Neighbors
Bad Asses


So many movies have german trailres. I think the most of them.

I have added preferred language support for trailers from themoviedb.org.

You can download a beta (attached) to see what you think and comment before I finialise and release. There is an option in the configuration dialog to choose your preferred language for trailers, there is also option to fallback to English and and an option to always get English trailers in addition to the preferred language ones.

If you select a language other than 'English (en)' then it will add a language code to the trailer name in the menu for Online items e.g. [de].

Set to German and watched a lot of trailers and most of them were in German

• Added a setting to re-show the menu after trailer playback if there is more than a single local/online trailer available. Defaults to off.
• Added a custom dialog for trailer selection. Skinner can optionally add Trailers.Selection.Menu.xml (ID 11898) to show a custom dialog. See the skin designers guide for details. If the custom skin file does not exist then it will use the standard dialog menu.
• Added a simple cache for online requests for trailers (currently only applicable to the TMDb provider). Default is set to 60 mins and can be changed from advanced settings in the Extensions GUI.

Here is an example how you can skin a custom trailers dialog, essentially its just a wider common.dialog.xml but it makes a world of difference.

Right now, im inheriting from the standard menu in MediaPortal and have not really added any custom controls or properties. If a skinner/user can think of something custom worth adding I can look at it. I was thinking of possibly adding a 'Play All' button but then again I can simply just add that as an entry to the list.

Just FYI:
PureVisionHD 1080 and DefaultWide (HD) already have wide dialogs - so no extra xml necessary

Very nice plugin.
I love being able to watch trailers to my movies.

Unfortunately the plugin doesn't seem to work for me. It only finds trailers 50% of the time.

Example of movies it does find trailers for:
American Beauty
Hall Pass

Example of movies it doesn't find trailers for:
Jackie Brown
Good Will Hunting

I'm using MP 1.7, with the latest version of Trailers and the MayaHD skin.
I don't know if I should do some logging, but can if needed.

Any ideas, or is this normal ?
