Transparent background on playback progress bar (2 Viewers)

Hi,

I am not sure if this is really a My TVSeries or a MediaPortal issue, that is why I am posting here before opening a bug.

Pausing the playback of an episode shows the progress bar box (the one that shows the name of the episode, remaining playback time, a thumbnail of the fanart, ...)

In other plugins (My Videos, My TV, ...) the progress bar is green over a blue background (using Blue3Wide). However, in My TVSeries I am not able to see the bar, nor the blue background. The only thing that show up are the text parts and the thumbnail of the fanart.

Any idea of the cause and/or resolution?

Thanks,
Fran

EDIT: I have added a picture. Does nobody have this behavior?

The OSD itself is drawn by MP itself, TVSeries only tells it what to write on it.
I can only imagine that your card runs out of memory somehow after using TVSeries and drops the OSD graphics.
But again, always attach your logs. We have no way to help you otherwise.

So only error I can spot is D3DERR_INVALIDCALL upon trying to enter exclusive mode for playback. Searching upon this turns up a few results, but its very rare and usually attributed to some sort of out-of-memory handling of your gfx card, or possibly corrupt drivers. Some people also said nothing short of a windows reinstall fixed it.
Unfortunalty you did not provide full logs, so we don't know what system your are running. Try to update your gfx drivers. If that fails, try to switch the renderer in config between EVR/VMR9.

    Thanks again for answering.

Upgrading gfx drivers made no difference. But switching the renderer to EVR did: Using EVR OSD shows up fine.

However, I am under Windows 7 and playback with that renderer makes video stuttering.

Is there any way to make OSD work with VMR9? Or to make video playback fluid with EVR under Windows 7?

    Thanks.

BTW, how can I post full logs? If I launch MP in debug mode, MPTVSeries is deactivated.

    Please provide system specs!

    From another post you created:
"Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family" <- Still using this? If so, might be related as this is does not meet MP req. regarding DX9 capabilities.

PS: FULL logs is much better: Forum/How_to_post_logs - MediaPortal Manual Documentation

    Hi. Thanks for answering.

I have just posted the full logs in another post on this thread and yes, I am still using that gfx card. Sad to learn that it does not meet MP requirements. :(

    Regards,
    Fran
