I'm having real toruble with my Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus card.
I'm trying to get the free Sky Digital channels through a standard dish with 1 LNB on Eurobird 1 & Astra 2A/2B/2D at 28.2°E.
If I try and autotune it in WinTV (Supplied SW with the card) or Media Portal TV engine 2 or Server engine 3, and it crashes the programs after tuning 2 or 3 tps.
Any programs it finds will be displayed OK in MP (WinTV just crashes), but I can't seem to do a complete scan.
The funny thing is I downloaded HomeTheatre and that tunes fine. Although it doesn't find any BBC channels and Channel4 and five are locked out (Shown as scrambled).
The PC has been perfectly fine with the Freeview DVB-T tuner, and it scans the DVB-T channels fine. Something odd is happening.
Can anyone help me out?
