Hi,
I have troubles importing series in MP 2.1. It happens on my media server running MP 2.1 Pre (see system specs). I have a certain folder and file structure which does work with the MP1 MyTV-Series plugin. More later. First the screenshots:
A lot of episodes have been imported as series as shown in the series main window:
Also one series has been imported as different multiple series:
Here one series as an example: 'Akte X / The X-Files'. Instead of 10 seasons it is only one and only half of the episodes are included with the other ones being shown on the series main window:
All episodes are included in season 0:
Here the epsiodes listed in season 0.
Something went wrong fundamentally on the series side while the movies are imported without problems. All .mkv files have their own .nfo file created with MKV-Buddy also there is a show.nfo file for all series. Importing was done without online sources. All information and pictures are stored locally. Same goes for my movies.
My folder structure for series:
\\Servername\s02\Videothek\Serien TV\Krimi\Magnum\S02\E01 Methoden wie im Wilden Westen (Krimi USA 1981 46 min MKV H.264 HDTV 720p 976x718 AC3 2.0)
The first s02 is the drive name for series hard drive #02.
As a reference my folder structure for movies:
\\Servername\f02\Videothek\Filme TV\Abenteuer\Die Mumie (Abenteuer USA 1999 112 min MKV H.264 HDTV 720p 1280x544 AC3 5.1)
This structure is exactly the same for all my series. Each folder contains the movie or episode as a .mkv correctly tagged with MKV-Buddy, also the .nfo file created by MKV-Buddy and Artwork (posters, fanart etc.).
As mentioned before the MyTV-Series Plugin works wihout troubles with my series collection. A reimport in MP2.1 does not help.
To me it seems as if the file path causes trouble to the importer:
Example:
File path:
\\Servername\s02\Videothek\Serien TV\Krimi\Inspector Barnaby\S06\E01 Der Tod und die Lady (Krimi UK 2003 98 min MKV H.264 HDTV 720p 1276x714 AC3 2.0)\Inspector Barnaby S06E01 Der Tod und die Lady (2003) (tt0647470).mkv
\\Servername\s02\Videothek\Serien TV\Krimi\Inspector Barnaby\S06\E01 Der Tod und die Lady (Krimi UK 2003 98 min MKV H.264 HDTV 720p 1276x714 AC3 2.0)\Inspector Barnaby S06E01 Der Tod und die Lady (2003) (tt0647470).nfo
Ends up in series main window.
Result:
Looks like the file path is garbled.
By the way: the first time importing with online sources it did work better, only two episodes were shown in the main window. After that I wanted to use offline/local .nfo files and artwork and completely deinstalled MP2.1 including all files in ProgramData.
My logfiles for MP2.1 are attached. I hope one of the devs can help.
Cheers
