Trying to install 1.7.0 fro. 1.6 (1 Viewer)

When I run the installer for 1.7 to update from 1.6 I get to the point where I need to download wmp which I do. It then seems to run wmp and comes up with "NOT A WINDOWS OR DOS PROGRAM". I continue anyway and get to "FAILED TO INSTALL APPLICATION MEDIA PORTAL TV SERVER" at which point it stops the installation.

Please help in getting past these two errors. Many thanks, Dave
