Trying to Minimise remotes - can you help? (1 Viewer)

I'm just about to get a MiniQ AV 430. It's a mini ITX that has instant on and built in ir remote control.

My question is how to I get this to work with my Hauppage Nova-T PCI and Mediaportal?

Can I program the on board IR to use the Hauppage remote, and therefore control mediaportal? Or will I have to use the Hauppage remote ir sensor and the Hauppage remote with the media portal driver?

I can imagine that the onboard sensor will work with girder to receive Hauppauge's signals but I'd certainly go the easy way and use the supplied sensor as it is a pain in the *** to have to configure every little action..

How did you go with this Glaspole? I was thinking of using a miniQ myself. Did you end up finishing the project and if so how did the remote controls behave? The instant on of the miniQ is pretty attractive.
