Hi,

i try to use Mediaportal 1.1.0. I just have a problem with video file with .TS extension.
I use mpc-hc to read my files (if i open directly from mpc-hc the .ts file, it play it without any pb)
but when i try to launch the same file in mediaportal nothing seems to launch.
The others files launch the mpc-hc player.

Is there something to configure ?
Thanks a lot

    Hi, all! :)
I've got this problem too! With MP 1.1.0 Beta. But in other versions (1.0, 1.0.2) this problem is not present!
Why MP play's something in internal player when in options the external is established?

    P.S. My system is Win7 Pro x64

TVE3 uses .TS as the file extension and MP is hardcoded to play these files always wih the internal layer as otherwise live tv etc. would be too easy to break when users select .TS to be played with external player. As a workaround you can just rename the .ts to .mkv for example and haali splitter is used (when cofigured in the system).

I setup an external player for videos however I just noticed that if I play a recording from within the tv section it opens in the external player. Is this supposed to happen?

This is under 1.0.2 using tvserver. I'll post logs as soon as i can.
