Tuner Card advice (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I currently have a Hauppage quad card with only 1 DVBS2 tuner and am not looking to replace this with a dual tuner card.

Am looking at either the:

TBS Dual DVB-S2 High Definition Digital Satellite Tuner PCI Express Card HD (DVB-S2/DVB-S) Receiver, or the

DVBSky S952 PCIe card (low profile) with 2x DVB-S2 tuner (Dual Twin Tuner)

Anyone using either of these with MP? Any recommendations? Or advice to avoid?

Do you use DiSEqC switches, or a motor? If so, you may be better off going with the TBS card.

No, absolutely nothing special, I have a fixed dish and am not even looking for anything other than FTA streams. I only asked because I saw elsewhere that there had been problems with TBS cards in the past and wondered whether these had been resolved, as they look like the best value card.

As far as I'm concerned there have been no more issues with TBS tuners than with any other brand. They're very good value for money.
Based on what you've said I think either card would be fine for you.
