I have a tiny HTPC case that I just put all my stuff in, and it only has one PCI slot and im thinking about getting a small vid card so i have 7.1 bitstreaming and a little power video power for emulating ROMs.
I have most everything in a fileserver, and it has a couple PCI slots open.
Was wondering if I could put my HVR-2250 in it, and have TV Server run on it to do all the recording, but have it interface with MP on my main HTPC. It's all connected via Gigabit, so it's plenty fast.

Sorta, off topic but does TV Series have a WebUI?

    yes you can do that

TV series doesnt have a web interface. but it can sync your collection with trakt.tv and follw.it in a couple days.

Any guide on how to set it up or should it be pretty obvious?

I wasn't looking for a web interface for TV series, I meant TV Server.
I am used to BeyondTV and being able to schedule recordings from the web and my phone, wasn't sure if TV Service had that.

There're a few web interfaces for tvserver of course, they can be found here in the forums. I use iPimp to add recordings via iPhone while not at home.
