I have just installed MediaPortal and I am having trouble setting up the TV-Tuner.
I live in Denmark and have cable-tv from the provider: "YouSee".
The terms: "Transponder", "Network", "QAM" and "Symbolrate" means nothing to me. I don't understand what they are, but I understand from what I can find on the internet that "YouSee" use:
- Symbolrate: 6875
- QAM: 64
I have tried searching, using area "Denmark" and "YouSee (global)", which finds no chanels. I have also tried searching manually for a frequency I know should hold chanels. But it seems that I just can't get any chanels tuned in.
If I use the Terratec software, I can tune in all the chanels (there are about 38 unscrambled chanels, i think). Shouldn't I be able to take the frequencies from the tuned chanels in Terratec software and type this information into MediaPortal and it should be able to find the same chanel?
Can anybody please help me or point me in the right direction
