Turn Display off with remote (1 Viewer)

Hi

I'm looking for a method to turn my Display (Generic PC TFT Display, not a TV) off (and on) with a remote key.

The only thing I found about this topic is quite some time ago, where it would maybe implemented. I don't find anything in the IRSS settings/remote mappings, whats the status of this feature?

Anyone knows an other (maybe freaky?) solution?

Background informations: The reason I need this is because its the MediaPortal Screen in my bedroom, where I sometimes just want to switch on for one minute to choose new music. I currently have a X10 (ATI Remote Wonder I) for this.
