Seems you're right about the 'p' shortcut key. As an alternative, would the "turn on TV" and "directly show fullscreen TV" help? Those settings can be found in MP configuration in the "TV" section. Wiki info is -->here<--.

I have already checked those two checkboxes in my configuration, but it doesn't always work as expected (the fullscreen-part works great, but the tv does not always turn on, when entering the tv-screen), and I don't know why...

Hence, it would be nice to have a shortcut to quickly turn the tv on, if it's off, when starting MP or entering the MyTV-screen. I hope that this would be implemented/fixed in one of the future updates.

With these configurations activated I can switch to TV with my Harmony (with MCE Remote Setup).
Perhaps the shortcut from Windows MediaCenter helps ( Ctrl + T ).

I suppose it's the same in MediaPortal because of the compatibility of my remote.

But never tried it with the keyboard shortcuts.

Yep, definitely agree with that one, would hate to try using mouse\keyboard on some of the skins

I just tried the shortcut, and it didn't work (as I described earlier, I have tried almost any shortcut combinations, I could think of, but without any luck).

Sounds very good, I'm also in the middle of buying a Logitech Harmony, which I hope will solve my problems with turning on the live-tv. Did you setup any special configuration to make your Harmony do this, or how exactly have you done it?
