Can you make a complete Step by Step guide to change Bootskin?

+1 to remove the flashing lightning

Suggestion:
Would be nice to see a bootscreen, where the MePo character(cartoon figure) pushes the MePo logo into the center of the screen. I do not know if this is possible - Is the boot screen Full screen size? If not, it would possible look stupid.

I have personally always found the THX & Pixar's movie teasers funny But the boot screen can't play audio:-(

The size of Bootscreen is the same of my screenshot on post 1 ! is not a fullscreen !

OK, I had time to test and use it now

IT is working like a charm. FIrst time I got an error message, but followed the advice in the firstpost and after that all was OK.

Animation is running fine. Although because I am running all from a SSD (vertex2) drive, the time to admire this is rather short.

It does seem the speed is different between the beginning animation and the repeating animation. THe repeating animation seems much faster.

Have you seen the Homepage of MP. There is a 'click here for a demo' there. THe blue/purple animations look really nice as well. Is something like that as bootanimation possible?
