I am having issues with TV playback and recorded TV playback. The video is pixelated, lip sync is off, and the video/audio skips or repeats like a broken record. I had the issue last week, I changed from the LAV codecs to Microsoft DTV codecs. The problem seemed to go away after restarting. This morning the problem resumed. I checked and the codecs are back to LAV. I do not know if that is an issue but I am mentioning it in case it helps. This happens using analog, QAM, and the set-top box. All regardless of channel. It also happens when playing recorded shows regardless of when the show was recorded or the channel recorded from. I am attaching all logs from this morning zipped directly after the problem occurred.

I also noticed that WMC starts randomly but I don't know if this is causing an issue or interfering with MP. Again I just mention just in case.

    Hello hootie318

Sounds to me like you may have some kind of security software - Windows defender, Microsoft security essentials etc. - scanning the MediaPortal and/or TV Server program, configuration, timeshift and/or recording folders while you're trying to use MediaPortal. This would be causing some significant stress for your hard drive(s).

    Can you confirm?

I do have anti-virus. It is a possibility I have not thought about. If the problem occurs again I will check there first and report back. Thank you for the suggestion.
