TV crashes on first use - but then works after PC restart (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 1.1.2
MediaPortal Skin: Default
Windows Version: Windows 7 32 bit
CPU Type: AMD Athlon X2

The first time I use the PC after work it hangs. I select TV -> TV Guide -> Current program on BBC One and it hangs at the EPG screen.


I think its the TV server. I have to restart the PC as the TV service won't stop / restart.

The file TvLogs.zip contains the TVserver logs after the hang. I also run Media portal in Debug mode after the hang - it behaves the same way. I have attached the logs for that too.

Any idea what's happening? Is there anything else I can do to help diagnose the problem?

Is there any clue as to if this is the TV server or Media Portal?

Further information:

It appears changing from an SD channel to the BBC HD channel can sometimes cause the issue. The reason I saw it at startup is because I normally select BBC HD as the first channel to view.

It is a lottery as to whether BBC HD will work or just crash.

It's definitely the TV server as once it has crashed the TV server can't be restarted from within the TV server configuration app.

I downloaded the source over SVN with the intention of looking in to it.

But then I got lazy and configured Windows Media Centre instead.
