Hello guys,
first of all I'd like to thanks all developers involved in working on this project. I'm using Mediaportal instead of standard TV and that's great.
However I've found some troubles in TV part which are still not corrected. I live in Czech Republic and I'm using DVB-T cards (AS2, Hauppauge 1300) for watching and recording live TV. I'm not sure but maybe something is wrong with both or just one of two DVB-T multiplexes I'm currently using. Whenever I switch to any of channels from the seccond multiplex, its data (PID and so on ...?) are updated in MP database but it replaces tuning data of the same possitioned channel from the first multiplex. So the result is that I have the certain TV channel tunned twise and I've lost the TV channel from the first multiplex.
I've experienced this behaviour in every versions of MP since the SVN released on 01/03/2006 and probably it connected with this change
( MediaPortal MyTV
On 01/03/2006 [08:44:47] _Frodo_ added the following change: pid changes are now detected and updated in the tv database ).
So,
my question to you is, Could you please either give me proposal about some workarround or add an option to the MP configuration to disable TV database updates?? I'd much appretiate that as in versions I can use there are still lots of bugs in My Music part.
Thanks for any comment and reply.
Best Regards,
Richard Zika

    Hi Richard,

Please do not double post - I have deleted your other (more recent) posting.

Also, it would be more helpful (and you are more likely to get a useful reply) if you used the Support Template and provide as much detail as possible...

Thanks for the information, Taipan, I was new at posting bugs :) but next time I'll definetely follow your instructions.
Regarding my issue, I'm not sure what was wrong - probably I there was a confusion of MP versions on my side. However, I've tried to reinstall MP completelly and applied SVNs up to the newest one and everything is working now for me. So, I'm happy.
    Sorry for desinformation.
    Regards,
    Richard
