My TV Guide screen is going black. After restarting MP and going to My TV->TV Guide, the guide shows up fine. Then, if I Exit TV Guide and then go back to TV Guide, it shows up all black except for the guide arrows and some text above and below where the guide is. It will stay like this until I shutdown MP and open it again. It is very repeatable.

I have searched but couldn't find anyone else with this issue. There are some flicker problems out there but my guide is not flickering. Just black. Please Help!

So nobody's had this problem before???

I've tried updating DirectX and .Net 3.5. I've tried setting Video Renderer to both VMR9 and EVR. Nothing works.

I'd like to do away with BeyondTV and use MediaPortal for everything, but not being able to see the guide is a deal breaker. Also, the guide doesn't seem to contain the "New" flag and MediaPortal doesn't seem to let you choose "Record Only New Episodes", even if it did have the New flag. I'm betting this is configurable, but if not, that is another deal breaker.

I use an integrated Geforce 8200 with the latest drivers...

Make sure the memory allocated in the BIOS is set to 256mb (or more), not left on auto.

Does your EPG stay black when you try to scroll through it? Is the screen completely black or is the EPG "just" empty (this is the problem I'm having)?

It's completely black excepted the channel group name on the top left.

@Paranoid : Thanks for your answer I'll try that

FYI I had the exact same setup running without problem for a long time until I applied SP3,who broke my NOVA-T 500, so I reinstalled everything from scratch and the only difference is that I use the last NVIDIA drivers instead of the one provided by the motherboard manufacturer... if Paranoid's advice don't work I will try to downgrade my graphic driver
