TV Guide still slowwwwww in RC4 (1 Viewer)

Just letting you know that the TV guide in RC4 is still extremely slow when using MySQL in WinXP and multiseat configuration...

Yep I still have this problem also. Single seat configuration here.

Mysql 5.1, RC4 with Windows XP SP3 and Multiseat config.

For me it is also slow, but I use MSSQL Express.
Not unbearable, but noticable when scrolling through many days.

I moved from MySQL (RC3) to MSSQL (RC4), and I find that its waaaaaaay faster. Then again, I only have a few channels (but 14 days worth of programs)

In For The Record we also support both databases, and in our findings we also found SQL Express to be significantly faster, especially if your database grows bigger and bigger.

But still, the choice is up to the user of course, some people like to avoid using Microsoft software, so we can only respect that

Exactly what I was going to say!!

Actually, in For The Record we have caching built in to the TV guide screen, so regardless of your database it should be quite a bit faster to nagivate around in it.
