Hi, I am using the non sever version of MP with latest SVN, as I could never get TV3 to record reliably. Problem is when watching TV, the picture and sound randomly freeze for anything up to 2-3 minutes. I am using a fast Athlon dual core with 1 Gig memory and Nvidia 6200, tuner is Nova T-500. I do not lose any content when this happens, it just starts again where it left off. I am using Purevideo decoders, but I have had this before on another machine, and I do not think this makes any difference, however I will go through and try some others. Anyone else had this problem?. Another quite unrelated issue, and not really a MP thing. My DVI connected TV will only show a picture if if the TV is on and set to the correct video input, then the PC booted. I can then switch between TV channels etc, and get back to MP as needed. Not sure if it is my TV, or the video card. This of course means if I go to standby, I cannot get a picture on return. As I say, it is not really an MP thing, but it would be interesting if anyone else has this problem, perhaps I need to somehow force the video card to always use the DVI output?. Any advice always welcome.
