Well, ill be damned, years of IT support jobs n this ones got me!! n its only simple!!
History:
I had logos for 90% of my tv channels (thumbs/tv/logos) working!
I updated them with a package and overwrote ALL the new ones.
When i go into tv its showing most of the new ones but some of the old ones ie
ITV1 - old
ITV2,3,4 - new
OK. im still ok with this, they must have been cached somewhere.. right?
so, ill try to reset the cache.
Resolve:
1,Deleted ALL the logos
2,Checked MP, NO logos for any channels. Im fine with this
3,Checked the pics i want to update to - all ITV`s same kind of layout, just diff colours - good
4, Deleted logos dir
5, re-created logos dir
6, put in all logos from new package
So at this point there can be no instances of the old logos in the logos dir, Plus ive already checked MP and NO logos were displayed kinda proving theyres no cache. Right!
Open MP, Some logos are the new ones, some are old ones!!!!!!!!!
Where oh where are the old logos coming from.?????????
This has gotta be the second weirdest prob iv come across. the first being a customers pc losing files because it was connected to the same mains outlet as a fridge!! took me weeks to resolve that one!!
