TV not working within MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

Hi there I'm completely new to this so please bare with me.

I have installed Media Portal and configured the TV-Server Config. I see all the channels and can preview from within TV-Server Config window but when it comes to playing within MediaPortal , I click on the TV tab and it just makes a click sound and does nothing, just zooms in the TV icon then zooms out.

Anyone know what I might be doing wrong

please check if you enabled the "TV Plugin" inside MediaPortal configuration.

Ok then something is wrong with the installation. Do you know which options you selected in the installation wizard?
You need the MediaPortal TV-Plugin and i think the best way to get this is to reinstall MediaPortal. Make sure you select "Perform an advanced Installation" and then choose "SingleSeat Setup". Here is the link to the wiki where the installation process is explained.

EDIT: you dont need to uninstall mediaportal first. the deploy tool should recognize your installed components and only add the needed ones.

Thanks for the response. Stupid me when setup I clicked the wrong setting did as you said and clicked SingleSeat Setup and all working now. Now onto EPG to get that working and I'll be happy.. thanks again!!
