Hi,
I'm having a strange problem with my MediaPortal. I've configured the channels and everything is up and running and have been for some weeks; but lately, however, some channels stop working when I try to watch them. What happens is that the screen is just black and there's no sound. I can still move to other channels so there are no crashes that I know of. Timeshifting is activated and I see that the harddrive is writing, so it seems to be recording something... I just don't get any feed onscreen.
So far, it's always been the same channels (SVT1, SVT2, TV7 and some more) that exhibit this behaviour. Usually, it's temporarily fixed by rescanning all channels, but then they stop working again after a day or two. Then there are some channels that don't work at all, although I can watch them when using the program provided by the TV-card manufacturer. However, once or twice I've been able to watch them, but that's very rare.
Anyone have any idea what's wrong? I'll try to provide more information, but I don't know what you need so you'll have to ask for it. Sorry.
EDIT:
I don't know if it makes a difference, but I set to HTPC on stand-by when I'm not using it. Rebooting it didn't fix the problem. I've also tried using various codecs with no avail.
EDIT2:
Hmm, after having done a rescan, it turned out that 2 of the channels had changed ID completely. No wonder they didn't work... At least that should explain the problem of the channels just suddenly disappearing.
However, there are still 2 channels I never seem to get in except very rarely (Aftonbladet TV7 and The Voice).
