TV, Radio, Website, Weather & Automation Logos (mainly UK) (2 Viewers)

Would be an idea if the first post indicated this (ie where they go) plus first post zip prob needs update as UKTV History still showing?

I'm using XP and have mine as above and not showing. rebooted, re-checked configs.

C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\TV\Logos - not working unless there is some config I need to change?

If using XP the tv logos should go here:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\tv\logos

Thanks.. works fine... now if I can just stop MP from preventing clean shutdown/hibernate/standby and allow multi-seat to actually work and I'll be sorted... MP isnt by any stretch straightforward. Looks v powerful but hard to get right.. thats one of the list for me!

Yeah, I've been using it for a few years now and it's very difficult to set up and get it working properly. I had no end of issues with getting hiberbnate/resume etc working until I started using an application for it called MPStandbyHandler. I'm using the latest version (2.0.0.9) It's worked perfectly since. It may be worth you giving it a try also...

Here's a crap logo I've put together for Quest - no rounded corners as square looks better in StreamedMP.

EDIT: Removed my terrible logo, get zip from next post.

I had a go at making my own logos for Quest and Yesterday and ended up using Inkscape, an open source vector drawing app. The resulting template is in the zip file provided if anyone's interested. It's designed to allow the simple creation of arbitrarily shaped tiles or buttons with a 3D effect. The readme contains info on how all that works.

By the way, thanks to TritonT and all contributors for the TV logos to date.

Here are a few icons for Freesat that are either missing or the design has changed. I had trouble with BBC Alba and someone may wish to post a better copy if they have one. Otherwise it will have to do for the moment. Obviously create copies of the ITV1 icon for the regions you use.

anyone know why when I upgraded from MP 1.0.2 to 1.0.1 all my nice Freesat logos no longer show up???? They are all there in the same directory (programData/teammediaportal/mediaportal/thumbs/tv/logs)

Help!!
