Tv Server and external receiver (2 Viewers)

StaticMan, you mentioned that you are using IR Server Suite. I have a Hauppauge IR Blaster and I read some threads that indicate that the IR Blaster does not yet work with TV Server (TVE3). Is this something different that the IR Server Suite?

chrisv - IR blasting through the IR Server Suite is now supported in TVE3. Working just fine with my Sky box.

I can't seem to get it to work. Just to clarify, I have the Hauppauge IR Blaster that comes with the HVR-1600 capture card (not the MCE version) and I am trying to change channels on my satellite receiver with the blaster pointed at the receiver (no serial connection to the receiver). I setup the Hauppauge blaster with the blaster config utility and testing from within there works fine, and it also works in GBPVR.

pediwent, do you have a similar setup?

Did you make sure the plugin is activated in the TVServer? The first time I set it up, I went through the plugin config screens where everything worked fine, but forgot that I actually had to tick the checkbox in the plugin list to activate it. It was driving me crazy until I realized that.

My setup is a little different in that I'm using the MCE receiver/remote combo, but if it's working in the config screens, it should work in MP as well.

I'll check out the config screens tonight (I'm at work now). I never got it to work in the config screens either. I'll take a closer look tonight and post my findings.
