Disable your antivirus software completely and try again with installing standalone MySQL 5.6. Post logs after that here.

Antivirus disabled....and MySQL 5.6 installed. Do I configure it before posting logs? If so...do I configure Server or Dedicated..??

Well things have now moved on a bit!
I uninstalled everything...and removed associated data files. After a restart....instal proceded (MySQL 5.1 installed successfully this time) and everything looked good!!
So thanks to all ...Vasilich, MM1352000 and JimCatMP for help in getting me off the ground.
Unfortunately....there are now other problems...so I'll begin a new thread!!
