I have 2 LNBs and total 2 500 DVBS channels. Selecting of ANY setting in TV server configuration tree that shows full channel list (TV channels, TV Mappings, EPG Grabber etc.) takes for me around 30 seconds.
Same issue with MP 1.0.2 on my other PC with Phenom 9950 (4 cores @ 2.8GHz), so i don't think it is a slow CPU issue (besides that fact that CPU Usage doesn't go higher as 20% on any PC).
Any kind of sorting of already populated list takes around 20 seconds, so it is little faster than loading of channel list.
I tested it with MySQL and with MS SQL Server without any change in speed.
I am afraid to even guess how many time i will spend on channels sorting/setup after installing dual LNB to support 2 receivers and connecting second input of my DVB-S card to it, because i will get over 5 000 channels.
I don't use .NET controls at my work, but in Delphi filling listviews with 100 000 entries takes around 1 second. So I hope it is not a restriction of .NET framework controls.
this issue is 100% reproducable, so no logs are required (i hope). If i am wrong and you need logs - then let me know.
I also can send you my channels DB for testing if you need.
