ok so after some hair pulling ive been able to get a little further!! :D I installed MP on another pc of mine, which has almost the same hardware & exactly the same OS, Win XP SP3. I had some real trouble with the .net framework versions over the last couple of nights, i ended up removing all of them that were installed & started from v1.0 to 3.5, now its sweet. For some reason each proceeding SP or update it wouldnt install, errors galore! But I digress.. :) Once it was all good I was able to install MP 1.0.2. So far with minimal config in 'Tv Server' & doing what we've discussed previously to config the mapping of the external inputs i've been able to get as far as previewing the input ----> NO ERROR!! Yeehah! i didnt have time to put in the break-out cable b4 work so i'll be trying this tonight... :D If its all ok i'll try to replicate what ive done to get it workin' on my actual htpc. I may have to do a clean install but it'll be worth it if it works! i'll post what i find! BIG Cheers to 'cthibs' & aidbish & motor for your help so far! I feel i can see some light at the end of that damn tunnel! hehehe
