Hello!
I am attempting to configure my new tv tuner so that I can watch tv on my computer (I understand that the same computer functions as the server and the client). I was able to follow all of the configuration guides to set up the server, but when I run the MediaPortal application I can't get it to connect to the tv server. I've tried filling in the Hostname in MP Config as both the name of my computer and its IP address, but to no avail. When I click the TV icon on the MP home screen nothing happens, and the TV-server config confirms that no clients have connected. Any idea what's happening here?
Also it may be useful to note that I never had to give the SQL password when opening the configuration settings.
