TV Server convert audio stream to ac3 (1 Viewer)

Hi together,

I'm not sure if I'm right here with tv server questions...

But I searched now for a long time for a solution but I didn't find something.

I've a Win7 32bit PC with the TV Server on it and I'd like to stream the signal to my raspberry, but the problem is now that my tv doesn't support DTS and the raspberry hasn't enough performance to convert the DTS to AC3 (Software based!! Because the DTS Corporation won't sell licenses to raspberry for hardware encoding).

Is there a way to convert the audio stream from DTS to AC3 on the server side?

What has this to do with TVServer?
There is no tv channel (I know about) which sends audio as DTS stream.

Suggest you hop over to Hardware forum (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/raspberry-pi.109257/) , the chaps there may be able to steer you to a solution.

I have tested Raspbmc, Xbian, Openelec builds with PVR for live tv nd all worked great with connection to MP TV server.
