Am trying to do the initial configuration of my TV card and it blue screens Windows 7 64 bit. Specifically I am just scanning the analog channels, I don't have any trouble with the digital ones... I have all Windows updates installed, the most current version of MediaPortal, all up to date drivers. I am able to view TV using Media Center with no trouble, it just fails when I scan for the configuration of analog stations. After it BSOD's, when I try to run the configuration again, it will just crash outright until I completely uninstall MP and try to configure again where it just repeats the same problem... It's getting frustrating!

A little additional information about my computer: It's a brand new HP Pro6005 SFF with 6Gb of RAM...

Thought... Would this be because of using 64 bit? Should I downrev to 32 bit???I love this software and had planned on donating if I could get it to work correctly with my system...

Okay, if anyone else is having the same problem or is following this thread, I *MAY* have a solution after fighting with this for hours. I found an alternate set of drivers and downreved. I have been successful in scanning 1 analog tuner and am about 1/3 the way through scanning the 2nd. I'll scan the digital tuners after and if all goes well, I will post my "fix"

EDIT V3 (The Next Day)::
Well, I scanned the channels on both analog tuners and one of the digital tuners then I started the last scan on the other digital tuner before going to bed. I got up and it scanned with no problems so I rebooted and went to work. I plan on testing tonight

EDIT V4 (A while later)::
It seems that my tuning nightmare has been resolved with the downreved driver set. If anyone is interested, when I get a chance I will post the fix on this thread.

I have a very similar system I just built with an AMD X3, on board HD 4290, and Hauppauge 2250.

I found that the newest drivers give me the BSOD and had to revert back to the ones that came on the CD that came with the card.

I got all the channels to scan also, but I am finding that when I change between analog channels I get a blue screen that flashes. It is only for the analog as if I fliip through the digitals I do not have the same issue.

Does yours also have the same blue flash between channels?

I would be very interested in any fixes that you may have discovered. Thanks!!
