After a complete reinstall of windows and MediaPortal (no old configuration imported) I have a problem with recording most of the time (about 80% of the recordings do not work). The computer goes to suspend, but does not awake for recording. I will add the logs here, where you will find the following exception very often:

    Code:
[Powerscheduler Timer(9)]: Exception :System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Die Parameter "Hour", "Minute" und "Second" beschreiben eine nicht darstellbare DateTime.

I seached the forum, but did not find any thread with the same error message.

    Thank you for your help.

    From your logs:
    Code:
2010-03-14 11:18:17.419752 [TVService(5)]: PowerScheduler: wakeup system for EPG at time: [B][COLOR=Red]61:0[/COLOR][/B]

    and also:
    Code:
    2010-03-14 12:29:12.349552 [PowerEventThread(8)]: PowerScheduler: [B][COLOR=Red]Warning WakeupEnabled is not set[/COLOR][/B].
Which mean you have not enabled "Wake up server for various wakeup events". You basically told PowerScheduler not to wake up for recordings, EPG grabbing etc.

My mistake , "Wake up server for various wakeup events" was really disabled. I have now enabled it, but the result is still the same. MediaPortal does not start the HTPC for recording and the exception

    Code:
"TV service PowerEventThread: Exception: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Die Parameter "Hour", "Minute" und
"Second" beschreiben eine nicht darstellbare DateTime."

    is also still the same.
Has anyone an idea ? It is very annoying that no recording work. How can a DateTime-Object have the wrong format ?

    Thanks in advance.

Please post complete logs with 'wake up' enabled. They might show something that was masked by the previous problem.

This line says that you have set PowerScheduler to wake up at 61:00. Since this is not a valid time it is quite normal that you get:

    Code:
"TV service PowerEventThread: Exception: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Die Parameter "Hour", "Minute" und
"Second" beschreiben eine nicht darstellbare DateTime."

Yesterday evening I have dont have so much time, so I can not test it. But today in the morning it seems that the HTPC does not start to refresh the EPG. I fear that the problem is still the same but now without exceptions. I will have a look in the eveneing and send some new logs.

OK, my computer starts for recording this evening. So I will close this thread and open a new one if another error will occur.

Thank you for your help, solving my self-inflicted problems.
