==================
I've got the following problem. I run this machine as a Server up till now with only one HVR-4000. Some days ago I bought a second one on ebay and instaled it today. After restarting the Server the card was installed properly and I can see it in my Systemsmanager. The Problem is that in TV-Server Config there is still only one TV Card...
Does MP TV-Server need a reinstall to recognize the second card, or did I miss a flag that needs to be set when running a second card? I don't think so since I was temporarilly running a Ciergy USB Stick that was found by the TV-Server as soon as the driver was installed. I searched the Wiki and the Forum for this but couldn't find a solution to this particular problem....
I'm thankfull for any suggstions, hints, tips, tricks, fixes,... :)

Thank you in advance

    Hi webfaxe

    First, welcome to the forum! :)
    I'd imagine that the tuner should be found, especially if you have restarted the server. You haven't posted logs though (these are *required* by the support forum rules - please read the rules!) so I can't tell you anything more than that. The watchdog is the best way to get logs...

    I have a similar setup, Asus M3N-HT Deluxe, 2 Hauppauge HVR-4000 cards (and an additional WinTV Nova one for Sky).

    Was running XP Pro successfully (currently on XP MCE, but when the 'proper 1.2 comes out I'll be going back to XP Pro).

    Anyway, I've got the same setup and it does work on 1.1.3 - I'm now on 1.2 Beta and it is fine on here too.

    Can you run the WinTV software and see both cards?

    The m/b only has two possible slots so try swapping them around maybe.

    (Oh, I use the on-board HDMI too. That goes to my TV and is fine, even on HD.)

    Hi Guys,

    sorry for the pause... but as my second TV card stopped working too and my internal sata card also gave up it's work a day later it was pretty obvious that my motherboard was about to give in for good...
    I'm running on a new MB now, both cards work fine, but as i installed WHS2011 on the new server system i got a whole lot of other issues to deal with now :p
    so anyway thank you very much for your support but as it turned out it had nothing to do with mediaportal!! so sorry to alarm you! bye!
