Your dependencies was correctly set before you executed set dependecies command. Can you try to stop TV Service, clean up all TV Server logs and restart Windows? After Windows start (and after TV Service start) I assume that you don't have any erros in logs.

    Hallo,2.0 ;)
Your problem is not the TV Service itself. You have a problem with your database backend "MySql".
You should check if the MySql service is running and if the TV Service can connect to the MP database.
Please check if MySQL is installed and service is available. Please also check if both services TV Service and MySql
    are started automaticlly by windows.
    Regards,
    Gerrit
TV Service and MySQL are both installed and running. They both run on Windows startup and both are enabled in msconfig services. Besides, my TV functions are working just fine; I can watch, record and timeshift TV with no problems.

I turned off TV Service, wiped the logs and restarted Windows. The error wasn't there this time. But then I restarted Windows again and the error was back. It does indeed look like the error happens when Windows shuts down with TV Service running.

In that case, does this mean that the error is unsolvable?

I've been thinking that if the error is the result of the shutdown procedure, then it should not be a problem or cause any trouble for me. As soon as Windows restarts, all is well and my HTPC will work fine. In other words, this is a harmless error. MediaPortal should continue to work well if I keep things the way they are. All I have to deal with is a very long error log file and I'm sure I can live with that.

But there is something that bugs me. How come this error only started happening one week ago? And has nobody else experienced the same problem? I don't know what I could have done recently to cause the error, or why I am the only MediaPortal user to encounter this. I'm curious for some answers.

If anyone from the MediaPortal development group wants to work on this and find out why this error happens, or how to stop it, I will be willing to help out.

I think that this issue doesn't have real impact. From development view is this problem unsolvable because it's operating system bug - shutdown order for services cannot be set.

Okay, so there's no way to change the order in which services are shut down. But is it possible to fix TV Server so it does not write that error in the log file at shutdown time?
