Hi,

if I start watching TV all works fine. I can watch over hours without an crash of the system.
But if i Stop watching TV (stop Timeshifting and watching) and waiting about 2-5 Minutes, and want to watch TV again, the TV Service crashes (I think TV-Server crashes) and MP hangs up.

I also tried not to open the TV application, but open the TV-Server Config - but this doesnt work either.

What can I do ?

PS: Where can I find the logs of TV-Server?

A few things make sure you have the DVBFix installed, also the amd dualcore optimiser is also worth having

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ner-issue-channel-scan-crash-windows-xp-6344/

Also there will be a update this friday (svn release, read screens when installing otherwise it will delete your settings) which will include a new TSWriter, which has solved some issues (search TSWriter if you want it now).

Hopefully the problem is fixed then.

I checked the problem again this evening and I found out, that the TV-Server Service hangs up.

But If I manually restart it in the Services Menu from Windows, the Problem doesn´t exist. The Service hangs up about 1-2 Minutes after watching TV. If the service is restarted early enouth the Problem don´t occour.

Is there any posibility to restart the service automaticaly by leaving the tv aplication?
Maby it is posible to link a script to an automatet action to restart the service?

This just should not occur, but i have had other errors with TSWriter not closing the built graph correctly ready for standby, may or may not be related.

No there is no easy way of shutting service down, does not even recognise it has crashed as such, so enabling the recovery options in the service management panel does not help either.

    Ok.

    Thank you for your reply.

I ll wait on the SVN-build, or is it out allready? I can´t find anything about a new SVN-Release of the TV-Server.

    Best wishes

I installed the new version, but the problem continues.

I fount out, that if I disable the EPG grabbing, all is ok.

I think the Problem is the EPG-Grabber.
