I know I'm going to feel like an idiot when I get the answer to this question. I am at a college campus in the US and we have IPTV. I have the playlist of channels but for the life of me cant figure out how to use the DVB-IP tuner to view them. I am quite sure it can. How can I scan this playlist or do I have to enter them manually?

Thanks for the help.

    Hi SSMI

Copy the playlist into the tuning details folder and name it like <country>.<provider>.m3u. Look in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbip on W7 and Vista or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbip on XP. Note those are both hidden folders so paste the location into the address bar of Windows explorer or enable viewing of hidden and system files and folders. You may also want to check the contents of the other playlists to check that your playlist format matches. I would also note that DVB-IP is a specific format - your IPTV may only work if the streams are in MPEG wrappers complying with DVB standards.

This is it. Thanks so much. You may want to add this somewhere in the documentation because I looked everywhere and couldn't find it.

You have to have the tvserver installed. Look at the second post in this thread. ProgramData is a hidden folder. You might have to make it visible. In windows 7 this is done by clicking Organize in exporer. Then you go to folder and layout options and check show hidden folders.
