Hi all

I know the docs mention a min spec of quite a beefy CPU, to handle all the .NET stuff and display updates, but what is the actual min spec for just running a TV Server?

I'm not looking at any additional plugins like transcoding, just pure standard DVB-T Streaming of MPEG2 streams, which in themselves dont require much processing at all

Am hoping to actually use a mini-itx VIA Nehemiah M10000 (1GHz CPU), running XP with the minimum of services running (or even Win2000 if I could shoe-horn it in!)

So, do I have the slightest chance? As far as I can see, MP TV Server is just a simple app with a service running a small embedded web server, a db connection, and splitting of MPEG2 TSes

Cheers

same question..
I want to build a dedicated mediaportal TV-server with the mini-ITX format..
Can I do it with AMD Fusion, Intel Atom, Nvidia Ion, NM10?? I want to use a passive one but I have a Large cooler
Is the PICO-PSU strong enough to feed a DVB-S2 Card and 3 or 4 HardDisks?

Wich one does need the GPU-card? Client or server?
