If the TVServer is running, nothing is using it, hibernating the machine at the end of the night, instead of a shutdown, (which is done on a lot of laptops and I do almost all of the time unless Microsoft has updates), the TVServer fails to respond on resume. Using the Services (MMC), unable to stop the service (error 1053). Using the Task Manager (all users), ending it there and then Starting it from Services works again. No restart was needed. It's now recording in the background as I'm typing this. The software that comes with the unit (TotalMedia), is capable of doing recording after hibernate and it also reads the ATSC EPG, just that the software itself is less than appealing.
I have tried using the workaround for resume on some systems, I had it checked and then unchecked and rechecked tonight, but it hasn't fixed it in the past, the TVServer still goes unresponsive. Driver for the ATSC-330U is the latest.
