I don't have my logs here, and I cannot say for sure that I have exactly the same issue, but...

I also have a floppydtv DVB-C, and when I install latest SVN, TV-server does not work. When I launch TV-server configuration it says TV server is not running (both when it is indeed not running and when it is running), then wants to start it, then shows me a configuration window with only "project" and "server" without anything else.

Then a nice error that does not want to go away... If I kill the application, and then relaunch TV server config (TV server is running for sure at this moment), it again says that TV server is not running.

Will try to provide logs later on.

I did find out that if i disable the floppydtv it is working fine, but as soon i enable the floppydtv it says again tvservice not running.

maybe is the driver incompatible (driver for 64-bit is still in beta) with mediaportal on a 64-bit computer.
