D3ltoroxp,
the picture helped. Use "Automatischen" and not "Automatischen Ordner" You must use the identical language from the window selection and not from the explaining text.

Atomic 7431,
sometimes the .dll is locked by windows or the tvservice and cannot be deleted. In that case rebooting may help or the way you described it. I was not able to find out how to improve that.

I have not changed the repeater marker for individual tv wishes which has been asked by an Australian user. As this is a complex change involving all language files I would like to understand first how many users are affected by that.

I have been thinking about this. Perhaps a better alternative would be to make the current repeat marker accept regular expressions. This would probably be easier to implement and would allow the user to specify repeat markers once only instead of needing to have the same repeat marker for each wish on the same channel.

huha, i've been investigating an annoying issue that has been bugging me for a long time.
Whenever i manually stop a recording on my client, the GUI freezes completely. This often takes 30+ seconds before it's responsive again, but sometimes it even takes longer then a minute. :(

First i thought it was related to ComSkip kicking in, but i tested with only ComSkip plugin enabled on TV Server, and didn't encounter the problem.
Then i tested with only TvWishList plugin enabled on TV Server, and when i manually stop the recording on the client, it locks up.

When i start a recording on the client, and then op TV Server Config and delete the schedule for that recording, TV Server config freezes and becomes unresponsive (will recover after about 30 secs, sometimes longer).
Without TvWishList plugin enabled, i can delete the recording schedule without a freeze of TV Server Config.

Steps to reproduce (on a multi-seat setup!)
    1. Start a recording on your client with TvWishList plugin enabled on the Server
    2. let it record for a couple of minutes
    3. Manually stop the recording on the client

When LiveTV is running, it continuous fine, but GUI is unresponsive.

Unfortunately there is nothing in the TvWishList logs, so i've attached my MediaPortal.log while reproducing the issue.
The last line in the log when i stopped the recording is:
    Code:
    [2013-06-08 14:29:52,260] [Log	] [MPMain  ] [DEBUG] - WindowManager: unroute to MediaPortal.Dialogs.GUIDialogYesNo:100->TvPlugin.TVHome:1
And the first line when i becomes responsive again:
    Code:
    [2013-06-08 14:30:54,350] [Log	] [38 ] [INFO ] - PowerScheduler: Keep server alive

If you need any more info, let me know! Hope you can figure out what's going on.

TheNoctambulist, can you post an example of the repeatmarker format?

HomeY, I will look at it, but this is not looking easy. Did you check from the log files that there was not an EPG search while you were stopping the recording? I will look at it next week end.

Yeah, no EPG search running. I only pull EPG data for about 15 channels, with a 240 minutes interval.

I experience this problem also, but didn't realize that it maybe depend on TVWishlist. Every stopping causes a freeze of the gui of round about 15-20 sec.

    HomeY, netexplorer,
can one of you try the following:
Disable the Mediaportal client TvWishlist plugin in the MP client configuration and repeat the test. Does the problem still exist with the client plugin disabled and the Tvserver plugin enabled?

    Hi huha,
yesterday i did some tests. Here are my results:

    1. Disable TVWishlist client plugin
Result: Stopping a recording took about 10-15 sec.

    2. Disable TVWishlist server plugin with restarting tvservice
Result: The recording is immediately stopped

    3. Enable TVWishlist client and server plugin with restarting tvservice
Result: Stopping a recording took about 10-15 sec.

So it seems TVWishlist is causing the delay.
