    am2+ mobo - win7 64 - MP 1.2 Beta - dtv af9033 tuners

Hi , this prob is not a MP bug but is a issue with my motherboard.
I just need a way of getting around it.

I had 2 kworld pci twin tuners which worked fine.

I've since removed them and now use to usb twin tuners with af9035 chip.
Since doing this I've had problems with my TV after resuming from S3.
MP itself works great but click on MY TV and it freezes to a blue screen -alt,ctrl,del will not go to task manager I have to reboot.

    I've tried:
    Reinit tuners after standby
    delay tvserver after standby 5-20sec
    Workaround for freeze
win7 power options USB - none selective suspend
    installed powersched ++
    Bios setting relating to USB

I prob could use restart MP after resume but would prefer to keep it quick if possible.

    Any other ideas to fix?

I guess you're using a static IP address or loopback adapter already?
Make sure your using the most up-to-date drivers for the tuners. BSODs are generally caused by badly behaving drivers, but you could post some logs if you wanted. Also, you could use a scheduled task to run a devcon command that restarts the tuner devices and then restarts TV Server. Look -->here<-- for devcon.

    thankyou MM!

I have got a fixed IP on it but it does have a wifi usb stick that does respond strangely sometimes(will try removing it).
I looked and could not find any new af9035 drivers. And thanks for the link to DEVCON, that looks to be a good option. I will try tonight and see.

Seems to have been a issue with the wifi connection. I did the MS loopback thing and seems to be all ok now.

Weird how it worked ok with the PCI tuners and not the usb ones. Maybe the pci ones slowed down the resume enough for the wireless to connect?

    MM thankyou for your help
