Hi,
I've recently got a subscription to an IPTV provider and I am now trying to add 600 channels in TV-server.
Is there a way to skip the check for Channel Signal since that's taking sooo long?
I know I can manually add the channels 1 by 1 but thats not what I'd like to do.

There could be a way to do it directly into the database?

    Hi again

When you scan an M3U, each URL is "tuned" in order to determine the details of the available channels. Note I said channels. It's important to keep in mind that TV Server does not assume one channel per URL (ie. single program transport stream).

Even if the stream from each URL does only contain a single channel, TV Server still needs to at least determine the channel's service ID in order to be able to tune it. If you know the service IDs in advance and are familiar with scripting and databases, there's no reason why you couldn't write a script to import the channels directly into the database. On the other hand, if you don't know the service IDs and/or are not familiar with scripting and databases... well, it's not so easy. In that case the only things I can suggest are:
    1. Try and see if the plugin that comes with the merged IPTV filter can help: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ortal-url-source-splitter-iptv-filter.121165/
    2. Consider modifying your timeout settings: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...n/TV-Server_Configuration/06_General#Scan_Tab
