TV server stuttering, then working, then stuttering... not working (1 Viewer)

I have a problem with my htpc.

My sistem has a Tvserver 1.0 and mediaportal 1.0 on the same computer. When I configure the TvServer I can preview all the channels with no problem, but when I enter into mediaportal things change.

When I choose the TV I only get frozen images and intermitent sound. It comes and goes, flashing the Tv image just for a couple of seconds (as if the stream was not working properly).

If I exit the tv and go to the general menu I have the tv box on the middle of the screen with a frozen image. If then I try to watch my movies the tv box dissapears.

And here is where it gets interesting. If I go back to the tv, the tv plays now fine. Until I get to the satellite channels. Then the whole thing goes wrong again. Stuttering image and sound. If I go to my movies and back everything goes again fine until I get to satellite channels.

Can anybody help me with this? I think my setup is pretty nomal, so there has to be a solution somewhere...


Please can anybody take a look at my logs and tell me theres a solution?

Solved!

Never Mind.... I solved the whole thing by changing the skin that mediaportal uses.

Actually I solved 2 problems with the skin change. The TV now is working like a charm. And my videos (some of them where not playing for no reason after I installed the Mediaportal Refresh Rate Control (MediaPortal - Mediacenter - - Refresh Rate Control) -actually this plugin is a must if you want to use your TV properly and don't want any audio synch problems.

The skin I used to solve all this was "StreamedMP" (streamedmp - Google Code). A wonderful skin by the way.

After installing it the TV stuttering is gone. The Satellite channels don't crash mediaportal TV server. The videos that didn't play, they do.... It's so so so so wonderful I can't believe it. And the skin is gorgeous.

Skin shouldn't affect the tv server crashes in any way. Maybe its just coincidence that the crashes did go away.

I know, but that's the only change I've done to MP. Not a single change in configuration. And just by changing the skin everything worked.

Well... actually I did a change... I changed the logging from "normal" to "debug". And that should not affect this things neither, isn't it?
