Hi,
I know it's not strictly supported but thought I might ask.
Similarly to other threads on here I want Mediaportal TV server running on my Windows Server 2012 machine as it's always on. I think I've done the BDA install thing OK - DVBViewer Transedit can see all my cards, scan, analyse and see channels etc.
Mediaportal TV server does see the cards, and everything looks good until I come to do a scan. The scan window just gives lots of 'nothing found' messages in red, but there are some exceptions caught in the TVService Log which I've attached.
It's a vanilla install, new database, all I've done is slightly update the Billsdale frequencies XML as it was out of date.
Please could anyone give me any ideas? I've tried the Blackgold BGT twin DVB-T tuners and the 290e DVB-T2 nanostick but both have the same result.
I'm really up for this and will completely change the OS on my server if I need to, but it would be a mammouth undertaking and the virtualisation in particular on Server 2012 is useful to me so I'd rather not.
Hoping for some inspiration!
