Okay so I have looked at many TV Service not started/broken threads and tried the fixes, but I have not been able to fix the problem I am having..

My TV Service is not starting. It says it is trying to start in Computer Services but it never starts.

I have tried the hosts file fix. I have tried the new TV Service exe from Morpheus and I have done a windows update. My problem though stems (I think) from the fact I may have corrupted something when MP froze (whilst recording) and I did the press the start button until it shuts down trick on the computer.

I have also totally uninstalled (but not the config files) MP and reinstalled all to no avail.

I get a pretty good error when I try to start the TV Server Config which I have attached (error.jpg) I have also attached my error logs.

Hopefully there will be an easy fix?

Hi, i can replicate the above behavior by pointing a tvservers (xpSp3) xmltv plugins xml path to another tvservers (xpSp3) xml path (e.g \\server02\f$\xmlPath)

This was on mediaportal 1.02 (singleseat installs on both xp machines)

Are you doing anything like this?

Cheers
