TV Shuts Down (1 Viewer)

Latest Vers + Latest SVN. XP Standalone No TV Server

I now have a reasonably stable system running. However for the last 2 months or so I have noticed that when watching a video and then changing back to TV, Often I am unable to get picture or sound. I have found that switching off TV in the menu, and then back on again usually sorts it out. This sometimes happens also while changing channels, but not that often. I have a Nova 500-T and a Kworld DVB100 with latest drivers, it seems to do this with either or both cards installed. I have also observed that sometimes when selecting a channel, I just get a black screen, going back and selecting again often then tunes it in. I would imagine that the two are related, possibly signal strength "seems OK". Anyone else noticed this problem?. Any comments most welcome.

Yer when i changed channels i had no sound had to go back to the tv menu and stop live tv then start it again it happened to me with
TVEngine3 Snapshot: 01-20-2008 05-09h Revision 17106
it has happened twice but i haven't noticed it since.

I am using a Leadtek DTV1000 T.

If you enable timeshifting in config, this problem should go.

Do not know what's causing it, but it's been around for quite a while.

Nice to know I am not alone with this one. I have timeshifting enabled, so I guess that cannot be it. I will keep trying and post a result if positive.

Maybe something introduced in svn, as i am currently using last stable release ATM, and all seems fine.

Also this a brand new xp install with every update done prior to MP going on, so no previous crap to come back and haunt me.

Thanks for that,

I had updates disabled on the basis that if something is working, leave it alone. I enabled them last night, so I will see if this gets a result.
